Biography

Erin Goebel was raised in Warren, OH, and graduated from high school in 2018. Afterwards, she began studying at The Ohio State University, majoring in biomedical engineering and minoring in humanitarian engineering. During the last two years of her undergraduate studies, Erin assisted in the Nanomedicine Laboratory, under the advisement of Dr. Daniel Gallego-Perez. In her final months as an undergraduate, she completed an honors undergraduate thesis, and graduated with her B.S. in May of 2022. In the fall of 2022, Erin joined the Biomedical Engineering Department at Texas A&M University, and is co-advised by Dr. Roland Kaunas, from the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and Dr. Carl Gregory, from the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine. She currently works as a graduate assistant researcher in both laboratories.
